Mirrors of Silence by Emirati film director Nawaf Aljanahi will be screened in Italy, as it was selected in the official short film competition of Salento International Film Festival (2008), which will be held in Salento from 5 to 14 September 2008.

Mirrors of Silence will be screened in USA for the first time, as it was officially selected in Washougal International Film Festival (2008), which will  be held from 21 to 24 August 2008.

Watch out for the performance of Alghawi by Mohamed Alhammadi in the Dubai Festival for Youth Theater (2008). In the stage play, Nawaf Al-Janahi is a young man torn in a struggle between moralities, and selling one's self in the time of hunger. The performance will take place on 18 August 2008, at 9pm, at the Culture & Scientific Association in Al Mamzar (Dubai). Admission is free and open to the public.

Mirrors of Silence will be screened in Algeria for the second time, as it was selected in the official short film competition of the 2nd edition of The International Arab Film Festival of Oran, which will be held in the city of Oran from 26 June to 3 July 2008. Emirati director Nawaf Al-Janahi’s On a Road is part of "Dubai Next: Face of the 21st Century Culture" art exhibition, which is organized by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, and to be held at the Vitra Design Museum in Germany , concurrent with the 39th Art Basel.

Fans of Emirati actor and film director Nawaf Aljanahi are promised a new opportunity to watch three of his films: Mirrors of Silence, Souls, and On a Road. The films will be presented to the audience in a screening entitled "Director in the Spotlight" hosted by the first edition of Saudi Film Competition which will be held in Al-Dammam city from 20 to 24 May 2008.
