:: 6 June 2008 | Mirrors of Silence in the International Arab Film Festival of Oran :: Mirrors of Silence by Emirati film director Nawaf Aljanahi will be screened in Algeria for the second time, as it was selected in the official short film competition representing the UAE at the 2nd edition of The International Arab Film Festival of Oran, which will be held in the city of Oran from 26 June to 3 July 2008. Admission to the festival screenings is free and open to the public.
The first screening for the film in Algeria was in April 2007, as it was part of the UAE Cultural week in Algeria organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Community, celebrating Algeria chosen to be the 2007 capital of Arab culture.

:: 11 May 2008 | Saudi Film Competition Hosts Nawaf Aljanahi Films :: Fans of Emirati actor and film director Nawaf Aljanahi are promised a new opportunity to watch three of his films: Mirrors of Silence, Souls, and On a Road. The films will be presented to the audience in a screening entitled "Director in the Spotlight" hosted by the first edition of Saudi Film Competition which will be held in Al-Dammam city from 20 to 24 May 2008.
The screening will be on Friday 23 May 2008 at 8:30pm in Al-Dammam Literary Club. Admission is free and open to the public.

:: 7 April 2008 | New Films :: Nawaf Al-Janahi participates in two new films at the Gulf Film Festival 2008. The first is Ahmed Zain's Sea Shells, in which Al-Janahi plays Hamad, a young man who fears the sea. The second is Hammer and Nails, an animation short based on an idea by Al-Janahi, and directed by Hamad Al-Awar.
:: 20 February 2008 | Mirrors of Silence in Dubai, Once More :: Invited by The Scene Club, Emirati film director Nawaf Al-Janahi's Mirrors of Silence will be screened on 27 February 2008 as part of a film screening night organized by the club under the title of Emirati Night. The screening starts at 7pm at the theater of the Dubai Community Theater and Art Center at Mall of the Emirates.
:: 17 January 2008 | Two New Screenings for Mirrors of Silence in Sharjah & Kuwait :: Fans of Emirati actor and film director Nawaf Aljanahi are promised two new screenings in UAE & Kuwait for his film Mirrors of Silence. Aljanahi is participating with the film in the inaugural edition of Prerana Film Festival which will be held in the Sharjah Institute for Theatrical Art from 24 to 25 January 2008. In Kuwait, invited by Kuwait Cinema Club, the film will be screened at Al-Shaab film theater in "A Week of Films from the Gulf", an event organized by the club in the period from 3 to 7 February 2008 as part of Al-Arabi Magazine's 50th anniversary celebration.
It is essential to note that Mirrors of Silence has achieved continues international successes, as it was officially selected in over 10 film festivals in the Middle East and Europe, being the only film from the Emirates in a number of them.
Mirrors of Silence is about a very important issue that many people face in the contemporary civilized society - the individual’s isolation in the modern city. This made the film touch people’s hearts in all the countries where it was screened. Also it is important to note that the film, which was very well received by both the audience and film critics, is full of photographic images and offers great music, what makes it a different visual and spiritual experience.
